The 160 spaces in this Desert Vista Resort (its tentative name) are envisioned as exclusively for RVers with motor homes. Like all of the larger sites in Arizona Legends, they provide ample room for the construction of a “casita.” These “sheds” can be equipped as completely as a small motel room – even including modest kitchen facilities – and may be ideal “guest rooms” for visiting friends or relatives. This Resort section is scheduled to include a recreation hall and swimming pool of its own. The sites here overlook a spectacular, gently-sloping, deep and wide desert “wash” – dry for most of the year, and yet – during the summer monsoon season – occasionally carrying a flowing stream – a dynamic manifestation of the changing natural rhythms found here in the desert southwest.
